Artist’s book

In many of his works Mladen Stilinović is focused on Wittgenstein’s ideas. In the artist’s book My Sweet Little Lamb! he combines Wittgenstein’s thoughts with the image of a pig and the inscription “My sweet little lamb!”. Stilinović pairs the contradicting meanings and he reverses the idea of tautology. The reason for this pairing stems from a Bosnian anecdote which suggested that Muslims would call a pig a lamb so they could eat it without remorse.
