Benny Nemerofsky Ramsay – I am a Boyband (Canada/Germany 2002, 6:21 mins.)

All the night my sleeps are full of dreams,
My eyes are full of streams.
My heart takes no delight
To see the fruits and joys that some do find
And mark the storms are me assign’d.

The language of love songs and representations of pop masculinity are explored as the artist performs all four parts of a boyband singing an Elizabethan madrigal. The video had its world première at Impakt in 2002, and has since screened in over 250 festivals and exhibitions around the world. I am a Boyband is distributed by LI/MA.
