BIO: Melina Gierke graduated from the Academy of Art, Städelschule, Frankfurt in 1994. Until now, the artist has remained faithful to the super-8 camera, besides her other work that comprise a range of essayist short films, visual narratives, subjective documentation, architectural films, films that could be described as “moving painting”, diary films, as well as strict conceptual works.
