Songs of Cyborgeoisie is a multimedia world-building project by the BBB_ collective, which has been bringing the Cyborgeoisie universe to life and expanding it across various formats since 2020. Songs of Cyborgeoisie is an interactive musical journey and sci-fi opera that takes the form of a music album, a PC gaming experience, a tarot card deck, and a live show.

The Songs of Cyborgeoisie game is a philosophical audio-visual journey through a sci-fi universe populated by technological, organic, and fantastical beings who share their sorrows and hopes in an effort to heal human imagination from pervasive techno-dystopian narratives.

The game invites players to explore philosophical ideas around non-human intelligences and empathy as sources of inspiration for confronting the fear of technological futures perceived as dystopian.

This gaming experience unfolds over 60 minutes, across 12 levels and corresponding music tracks. Each level features a different character, lasts between 3 and 12 minutes, and includes transition videos between certain levels. Every level presents philosophical quests designed to challenge the player’s perception.

The accompanying soundtrack tells the story of Cyborgeoisie through rich and complex textures, composed of polyphonic voices, generative sounds, choir arrangements, acoustic instruments, and a blend of soft and abrasive electronic music — forming a mesmerizing and immersive spoken-word sci-fi opera.

BBB_ is a technologically advances cross disciplinary music and performance project. Founded by allapopp and Alexander Sahm in early 2015, it works on the intersection of music, performance, art, design, philosophy and digital technologies.The project works in live performance and scenographic installations format, experiments with digital voices, natural language processing, brain stimulating music and interactive visuals. With utopian and dystopian setups, through experimental sound, intense electronic music and spoken words, artists try to confront the spectator with a situation where human and inhuman conditions merge, speculating on various states of mind, relationships and self-perception, altered by socially and emotionally intelligent digital technologies.
