This project engages with the omnipresence of Google on the internet. GOOGLESS advocates alternative tools that don’t rely on the Google platform, and uses playful provocation to educate on problematic aspects of Google’s practices. The project offers politicians and the public a chance to experience a utopian vision of the internet – one in which Google is absent.
