Tabita Rezaire (online)
Tabita Rezaire is an artist, cacao farmer, and devotee. Her work explores the connections between digital infrastructures, cosmology, and spiritual dimensions. Working across video, installation, performance, and collective practices, her research centers on the praxis of decolonial healing. Drawing from Amazonian and Afro-diasporic knowledge traditions, Rezaire asks how ancestral systems of knowledge may offer refuge and response to the violence of our world-beings.
In her practice, digital networks and cosmic systems intertwine, carrying the echoes of history, the politics of territories, and the wounds of our time. The internet, ancestors, sound, and the womb are approached as interfaces of knowledge and connection. Rezaire expands the boundary of technology to include practice of vulnerability and community.
Her work explores how spiritual technologies can serve social justice and open different perspectives on digital infrastructures. Through her work as artist, birth worker, and farmer she reveals the entangled relationships between body, earth, and cosmos.
More recent projects shift toward land, community, and regeneration. Here, collective care practices, food, and territory emerge as living infrastructures. In this keynote, Rezaire reflects on her artistic trajectory and considers how ancestral knowledge can inspire alternative technological imaginaries—rooted in relation, care, and resistance.
