Roee Rosen
Out (2010) and The Dust Channel (2017)
One of the provocative yet compelling characteristics of Roee Rosen’s work is how it stages political and ideological concepts in the physical realm of the human body, in all its fragility and eroticism. At DEAL WITH IT we fully engage with the tension around what can and cannot be presented in the public sphere. That tension is clearly at play in this screening of two of Rosen’s most celebrated short films: Out (2010) and The Dust Channel (2017). Following the screening of these films the artist will talk about his films and his fascination with the field of tension between politics, the human body, art and eroticism.
