Impakt festival 2017, Utrecht;

Impakt is looking for Brand & Content Management interns for the upcoming Impakt Festival!

Impakt is emphatically looking for interns who are not afraid of hard work, are able to look ahead, work independently and are fond of tumultuous environments. We provide solid guidance that makes the internship a good supplement to the CV of the recently graduated or those in the process of graduating.

The department Publicity creates attention and interest in the Impakt Festival by means of social media, print work, advertisement and by writing and sending out press releases. The department is divided in three categories, for each of which we are looking for an intern:

  • Press, free publicity and marketing
  • Assistant editor and production of festival print work
  • Digital / Web editor / social media / blogger

Your skills are:

  • you have excellent communicative skills in either Dutch or English (especially with respect to grammar and spelling), but expertise in both languages is preferred.
  • you are flexible;
  • you want to get the most out of yourself and the organisation;
  • you have a commercial attitude and the mentality of a salesman (Marketing);
  • you are motivated, eager and willing to expand your capacities;
  • you have an independent and active working attitude.

Work hours:

A minimum amount of 24-32 hours per week (3-4 days), for at least three months and preferably longer.


You are involved in:

  • writing press releases;
  • keeping contact with journalists and editing boards;
  • having the adverts designed and published;
  • acquiring adverts for the festival guide and the website;
  • keeping the website up-to-date (by means of a Content Management System).
  • sponsoring;
  • organising target group research and publicity campaigns;
  • developing Impakt’s image.


You are involved in:

  • collecting texts and images for flyers, the festival guide, posters, etc.;
  • editing texts and having them translated;
  • keeping contact with the design agency HOAX and supervising the design;
  • supervising the printing process and keeping contact with the printer;
  • distributing the printing material over the mail and in person.


You are involved in:

  • writing blogs;
  • keeping the Impakt website up to date;
  • posting on social media;
  • developing social media campaigns.
