Natalie Dixon – Digital Intimacy – Cultural Sunday -12 October 2014

Hooked on the electronic man!
On 12 October, Impakt was part of the Culturele Zondag event “In de Ban van de Man” (Hooked on the Man). With this event Impakt put the softer side of harsh technology under the microscope and unraveled the mysteries and future visions of digital intimacy with robots, apps and online dating.

With its 2014 program Soft Machines, Impakt is taking a look at machines with feelings. Can you live together with a robot? Can an app save a relationship? And can you find the ideal man through a dating site? Speakers included Vanessa Evers of the University of Twente, as well as Affect Lab and Tosca Sel.

This Video is a report of the presentation by Natalie Dixon.
