This film portraits late Taita Paulino Mojomboy, an Inga elder, a shaman, and a key central figure for the entire Inga Nation. Taita Paulino was a healer in the broadest sense. He was a spiritual and political leader who has used ancestral medicine to support a process of cultural restoration, self-determination, and the revival of indigenous knowledge among his community. Taita Paulino was a biopolitical mediator between the territory, the sacred plants, and the spirits sharing the multidimensional forest with the Inga as a shaman.
