Silicon Sights is a fictional exploration of a hypothetical border, between the physical land- scapes and their digital replicas, questioning the bridge between the two worlds, and following the existence of meta-human entities and alter-egos on both sides. What do these entities have in common, and what is the relationship between them? The hero of the film is one of such, and they are provided with a camera, a device that can exist on either side of the border and can, therefore, cross and blend the documentations into one research narrative. A fragile inter-dependency is revealed, where the digital world thrives on the resources of the physical, consuming electricity and polluting. The meta-human entities of the digital world dream ambitiously of the better future; a post-representational paradise.
