Garden of Earthly Delights (1981), by Stan Brakhage is a collage comprising almost entirely of montane zone vegetation. It is at the same time a homage to as well as an argument with Hieronymous Bosch, paying tribute to the ‘The Tangled Garden’ of J.E.H MacDonald and the flower paintings of Emil Nolde.
