Ortiz combines divergent footage in a suggestive and possibly explosive piece with all the dexterity and enjoyment of a mischievous devil. He edits footage of a head of a shouting man, volcanic eruptions and a woman merrily galloping around on a physiotherapeutic device – legs akimbo – together using scratching techniques, positive-negative reversals, enlargment and reduction of the images and by making them transparent. An unusually exciting video.
