Thirty seconds of film recordings are spread out over four and a half minutes and structured according to a mathematical formula derived from the music of Porter Ricks. Images of a train, a station and railway tracks are edited together in a fast, rhythmic sequence to the dark electronic music which could be described as ‘Victorian Doom drum & bass’. The divisive contrast between an unpolished surface and a highly precise structure helps to seal the union of this music and film.
