Cut-out animation in Pop Art style, Classic heroes, drawn in the style of Roy Lichtenstein, move about against partly drawn, partly photographed backgrounds. The only difficulties they encounter are with each other and in affairs of the heart. “You take the highway, I take the low. It’s better that we parted so, but kiss me…” is the tragic conclusion to the first part of this video. Regrets occur in the second part: “Oh Lord, I’ve done wrong!”. Spasmodic attempts are made at trying to make contact with each other. The third section, where amends ate usually mode, takes an unexpected homo-erotic turn. Each section has its own characteristic music which strongly influences the atmosphere in each of them.
