When the Roman Cotholic church has anchored itself irreversibly in someone’s personality it cames as no surprise that the person that has spent years living in a car eventually changes into a vehicle themselves. It is only by commiting all his tears to the fight that he finally succeeds in beating the Devil in a race. But what is left to fantasy once the Devil has drowned in this valley of tears? This is the parable Mike Hoolboom presents to us using enchanting music and disturbing images selected from the works of Tarkovki and others.
