What is it that occurs in the background, in the margins and in the last frames of a normal, everyday film recording. Hossner finds out by blowing up a Super-8 film to 35mm. A zebra crossing, pedestrians, cars – they all become coarse and grainy pitch black stains on a thick bed of snow.
