16:00 - 18:00Three attempts – one beautiful, one intelligent, and one exciting – at finding a way of dealing with the past. In the first film a photogenic piece of no-man’s land is still remembered by some as a heavily-guarded border zone. A monument for everyone, or: does the war indeed need to be remembered along ethnic lines? – that’s the question in the second film. In History of a Cake the baking of a cake is as a monument to memory; slowly, even the past begins to take on more shape.
