“Schizo” illuminates another important element in the work of Christoph Draeger: his interest in Hollywood films, which takes the form of remakes and found-footage installations. In his newest work, “Schizo”, Draeger draws parallels between two versions of Hitchcock’s classic “Psycho”. Striking double images show not only how faithfully Gus van Sant followed his master, but also how the censors allowed more in 1998 than in 1960.
