FFF Videoshow
— 12 May 2002
The FFF Videoshow is structured around themes that align with the interests of both young and not-so-young television viewers. The exhibition is designed by stylist and designer Ruud van der Peijl.
Circus Maximus Home Movie
Circus Maximus Home Movie is a two-day event at the Centraal Museum Utrecht (11–12 May) presented by Stichting Lazy Marie as part of the FFF Videoshow. The program explores 40 years of home filmmaking, featuring family films, amateur videos, bloopers, video experiments, and works by artists inspired by the home movie. The event includes a hosted television-style evening on Saturday and a continuous screening on Sunday. Visitors are also invited to submit their own home movies for selection, with free admission for chosen entries.
Hoogt 4
At ’t Hoogt, art can be seen that thematically connects to the FFF Videoshow. Three video works from the collective VNE: Hovering over Wasteland by Michiel van Bakel (in the café), Trembling Time by Yael Bartana (in the box office), and The Kiss by Rafael Montanez Ortiz (downstairs by the telephone), and Paradise the Club 2001: Dressingroom by Erwin Olaf (courtesy of Flatland Gallery Utrecht).
Additionally, on 8 May, two films will be shown as a preview of work by the same makers from the FFF Videoshow:
1 May, 7:45 PM: Ridley Scott – Blade Runner (Director’s Cut)
8 May, 7:45 PM: Guy Ritchie – Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
