By means of multiple video and slide projections, Wineke Gartz creates mental spaces in her installations where observation, fantasy and yearning intertwine.
The interaction between the work and the space of its presentation take a prominent role in the work of Gartz and her installations are always ‘site-specific’. For Encounters Gartz created a personal, dreamy and associative work revolving around physical and mental wanderings.
