Digital Disobedients is a DVD and a magazine. It is comprised of work by internet artists who are using the medium to make polilical statements about physical and online realities. Participating artists are: Kenneth Hung, Josh Davis and Branden Hall, Golan Levin, lsaac Leung, Luuk Bouwman, Jonah Brucker-Cohen, Conglomco and Hactivist, Scott Sona Snibbe, 0100101110101101.0RG, and The Yes Men. They are regarded as “disobedients” because their work stirred the anger among major corporations, political officials, and federal agencies. The lnternet is their way to spread disinformation, make product barcodes available to consumers, spy on network activity, and have lnternet sex.
