lt’s Not My Memory of It: Three Recollected Documents

In the first part of this triptich a former CIA source recounts his disap­pearance through shredded classified documents that were painstakingly reassembled by radical fundamentalist students in lran in 1979. The second part shows a burial at sea of six Soviet sailors, in a ceremony which collapses Cold War antagonisms in a moment of death and honor. In the final part, images of a U.S. missile strike in Yemen in 2002 are the source of a concluding reflection on the role of documents in the constitution of the dynamic of knowing and not knowing.

In this decidedly topical piece, the skeletal hero is sent by the American Empire into an unspecified Arab country (lraq) to mop up the rebels. When the mission is accomplished, he has a revelation about the motives behind his handlers and turns on them viciously.

Future Shock

This sci-fi themed episode finds Ghost Tank abducted by time-hopping extraterrestials. Once in their futuristic lab-facility he helps his fellow captive, a primitive ape-man escape. But things get hairy from thereon, once a homosapien couple and an eros-inducing alien get into the mix. This may be the most heartfelt episode of the Ghost Tank series to date.
