Invitation: Impakt Housewarming

9 December 2008

19:00

Location: Impakt HQ

The Impakt Foundation has moved to the Kokerloods building located at Lauwerecht 10 in Utrecht. After years of more or less temporary residence, Impakt has finally found a place of its own. The Kokerloods is a monumental building which was originally used as a storage place for wood. With the support of the municipality of Utrecht and in collaboration with the Work Space for Artists Foundation, we have renovated this landmark building and extended it with an additional top floor. The Kokerloods does not only house Impakt but also provides studios to resident artists, and contains a viewing room and the Impakt mediatheque.

We hereby invite you to attend the official celebration of our new location at which we will also take the opportunity to outline our future plans. Moreover, we will present ‘Behind the Seen,’ the book produced by Lava designers in honor of 11 years of collaboration with Impakt.

Program:

19.00 – 19.15 hours: reception

19.15 – 19.30 hours: short presentations by Ruben Pater (Lava), Hugo Bongers (Impakt board chairman) and Arjon Dunnewind (Impakt director)

19.30 – 20.30 hours: drinks and music, with snacks by Flaming Flip

We look forward to welcoming you.
Sincerely,

Arjon Dunnewind (Managing Director)
Marc Boonstra (Business Manager)
