IMPAKT X Fotodok: Taferelen #25 – The Power of Big Data

21 February 2019
18:00 — 20:30

Location: Fotodok/Casco

An evening about the power of big data and increasing control over our behavior by autonomous systems, organized in collaboration with FOTODOK with special guests like photographer Esther Hovers.

What is more enjoyable than together with other art enthusiasts have a good meal, listen to inspiring speakers and getting a curator’s tour with a glass of wine in your hand? On several occasions FOTODOK opens its doors for visitors who like good food and company. So join in, get a plate, pour yourself a drink at the self-serve-bar, sit back and take in the good company around the table.

Food will be provided by SYR, a Syrian restaurant mostly run by Syrian refugees in the same street as FOTODOK and IMPAKT. The restaurant is very popular and even reserving a table is quite the task. Fortunately, SYR provides their delicious food to our visitors of Taferelen so you can enjoy the authentic Syrian cuisine.

A maximum of 25 seats are available for this event. To keep the evening dynamic and diverse artists are placed next to theorists. That’s how every theme of Taferelen is discussed from different perspectives. For this special edition of Taferelen two short tours will take place in the exhibitions of both FOTODOK and IMPAKT.
