Our IMPAKT TV hosts Michelle Franke and Friso Wiersum will be reflecting on the fourth day of the IMPAKT Festival 2021 Modern Love. Afterward, a nightkiss to put you to sleep: the screening of Safe Touch (2020) by Ingo Niermann.

Can we touch each other in a safe way and abide by the necessity of physical distancing? In this IMPAKT TV episode we will be screening the film: Safe Touch by Ingo Nierman. Safe Touch is a tutorial video for the ‘Army of Love’ on how to be safely intimate with strangers during the Covid-19 crisis. 

This episode is hosted by Friso Wiersum and Michelle Franke.

Friso Wiersum

Friso Wiersum (1976) is a program maker, moderator and connector. Friso works as project manager communications at the European Cultural Foundation. He also is a member of Expodium, an urban do tank which curates, teaches and publishes on art and the city. He sometimes reviews books, is a member of a dj collective, rides his bicycle and plays baseball.

Michelle Franke

― Moderator

Michelle graduated cum laude from the Research Master Art and Visual Culture at the Radboud University, Nijmegen, the Netherlands. She was selected for the Young Excellent Scholar Research Programme at CEDLA (Centre for Latin American Research and Documentation). Since 2020 she works as head of PR at IMPAKT [Centre for Media Culture].
