The Longing Disco is a live art event shaped by the people taking part. Each song at the Longing Disco has a unique story to tell. Participants anonymously request the song most connected to personal stories that chronicle blissful courtship, tragic romances, unrequited loves, displacement, loss, hopes and dreams. You are invited to anonymously share with us the songs that evoke your most powerful memories of love and the stories connected to them. We’ll be playing these songs at the Lonely Hearts Club Bar every night of the festival, and on Saturday 6 November they’ll be the centre of the Longing Disco, an evening of music, dance and desire inspired by the emotional spectrum of love and longing.

To become part of the Longing Disco, send us your request through this form. Please include:

• Song title
• Artist
• Short story behind your song choice 
• Optional: image representing your story to display at the disco

All submissions will be treated anonymously and you can share your song with us even if you’re not attending the event.
