Marta Dauliūtė― Artist
Marta Dauliūtė (Lithuania) is film director and producer based in Stockholm. She holds an MFA in film directing from Valand Academy of Art, Sweden. Along with partner Elisabeth Marjanović Cronvall, she runs the film production company MDEMC. Dauliūtė’s films have been screened at Hot Docs, DOK Leipzig, Kasseler Dokfest, Thessaloniki International Film Festival, Ji.hlava IDFF among others. In addition to directing and producing short and feature documentaries, she is a co-organiser of Noncitizen, a nomadic film project. She chaired the Swedish Independent Filmmakers Association from 2012 to 2014. Dauliūtė also works with casting, as a film dramaturge and intimacy coordinator, and teaches film directing.
Viktorija Šiaulytė― Artist
Viktorija Šiaulytė (Lithuania) is a curator and filmmaker based in Berlin. She holds an MFA in Critical Writing and Curatorial Practice from Konstfack, University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, Sweden. Šiaulytė is an independent curator and producer in the fields of contemporary art, architecture and film. Working with artists Nomeda and Gediminas Urbonas and writer Tracey Warr, Šiaulytė co-curated Zooetics (2013-2018), a transdisciplinary art research project on interspecies technologies in art, science and technology. She is the founder and co-curator of Videograms, a recurring festival and platform for artists’ films and video art in Vilnius, Lithuania. While working on the Good Life film project together with Marta Dauliūtė, she was awarded a research residency at Vilém Flusser Archive. She has also presented events at the transmediale festival of art and digital culture (Berlin, Germany) and the National Gallery of Art (Vilnius, Lithuania). Šiaulytė was a fellow at Akademie Schloss Solitude in 2020-21 and is currently a research affiliate at the Art, Culture and Technology Program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
