They will tell you more about the sand used for The Dig, the art installation by The School of Mutants. This installation is a cross between an archaeological site and a sandbox, where visitors work together to unearth hidden objects and playfully create new stories.

The sand comes from Paleis Lofen itself, where the volunteers normally give guided tours. During these special afternoons, they explain how this historic sand found its way into the exhibition and share their experiences as guides. Of course, they will also be happy to answer any questions you may have about Paleis Lofen.
