Tachyoness

Lesia Vasylchenko (2022)

Tachyoness assembles over a thousand images of Ukrainian sunrises, drawn from VHS tapes, social media, and advertisements spanning 1990 to 2022, and reprocessed through AI. Named after the hypothetical faster-than-light particle, the work collapses past and future into a machine-dreamed horizon. Through this fusion of archive and algorithm, Tachyoness reflects on how artificial vision reframes temporality and collective memory.
