Location: Theater Kikker
Chus Martínez is a curator, and currently Head of the Institute of Art of the FHNW Academy of Arts and Design in Basel, and was Head of Department at dOCUMENTA 13. The primary concern of her curatorial practice is the question of how thinking emerges through the substance of art. Her most recent projects have focused on the development of logics that can help us interpret the role of artistic research in relation to institutional forms and the wider cultural production of knowledge.
At the opening of the talk the video “Institute For Southern Contemporary Art” by Joao Enxuto & Erica Love will be shown.
