Bárbara Perea

Bárbara Perea is an independent curator/writer based in Mexico City. Her practice focuses primarily on media and sound art and is grounded in the concept of exhibition making as a platform for critical thinking. She has curated exhibitions and festivals in Mexico, Europe, Canada and USA, including the Mexican pavilion for the 52nd Venice Biennale.

Jan Adriaans

― Speaker

Jan Adriaans is a Dutch visual artist based in Rotterdam. In his work, he considers social behaviour within certain power relations from a neurobiological perspective to arrive at a more incisive interpretation of humankind. Adriaans studied Posthumanism at Leiden University and holds a Master’s from the DAI. He teaches in Utrecht at the HKU.

Marloes de Valk

Marloes de Valk (Netherlands), creator of Villains & Heroes is a software artist and writer exploring the connections between global warming, our political system and Surveillance Capitalism.
