DAAN ROOSEGAARDE
Daan Roosegaarde (The Netherlands, 1979) is known for projects such as Roosegaarde-Van Gogh Bicycle Path, Glowing Lines, Smart Highway, Lotus and Flow, cleverly using the memory of different materials to create an interactive environment. In his keynote speech at the Impakt Festival Roosegaarde will expand on his practice and the future of human memory in relation to computers, networks and the internet.
“We have to use technology and creative thinking to give the world am update. After the first horizon of our short term needs there is a second and third horizon where sustainability and dreams prevail”.
