"Love in the Time of Corona"
“Love in the Time of Corona”
Because of the measures taken against the spread of the Corona virus we will need to do without the film events, screenings and festivals we love so much, at least for the coming months. This also means that artists have lost an important platform to present their work on and get responses from the audience present at screenings.
IMPAKT would like to respond to this situation with an Open Call for video works: we would like to invite artists to send in video works that have not been presented online before. The video works selected will be presented online on the IMPAKT Channel for a period of at least one month, for which the artists will receive a screening fee of 200 euro’s.
You can send in your work for two sections:
– Recent works (from the last 5 years), not relating to a specific theme.
– Works (not necessarily recent) responding to the theme “Love in the Time of Corona”.
In both sections we will only select works that have not been available online before. We are interested in artist’s video’s, experimental and non-narrative works, video art, etc. The call is not open for (short) narrative works.
We accept a maximum of three video works per artist. Please fill in separate forms for every work.
