On the BG Track. 03 compares the urban spaces of Sofia with Hollywood film dialogues which portray Bulgarian culture, customs and identity between the fictive clichés and the real facts. Through 5 feature films, it attempts to investigate how the film industry, as mass media, is dealing with the ‘other’, the ‘exotic’ and the ‘unknown’ cultures.

Krassimir Terziev is een interdisciplinaire kunstenaar wiens werk een diversiteit aan media omvat, waaronder video / film, fotografie, schilderen / tekenen en tekst, waarbij hij de grenzen tussen realiteit en fictie in twijfel trekt, terwijl hij de veelvoudige overgangen en spanningen tussen een geglobaliseerde wereld verkent, gedomineerd door overweldigende veelheid aan symbolische beelden, en de materiële basis ervan in technologische, fysieke en menselijke 'hardware'.
