Look-alikes 2001-2002 is a series of short video portraits that explore the psyche of ordinary people who think they look or are often mistaken for celebrities. This series, which highlights the individual identity within our culture that is occupied by famous people, focuses on the concepts of image and reality, the visible and the invisible, as well as the complex trade-off between self-acceptance and self-alienation.
