About Residencies & Projects
IMPAKT supports new talent and produces new works that contribute to contemporary debates in media culture, art, society and technology. IMPAKT is a founding member of the EMAP European Media Art Platform, a collaboration that brings together 11 European Media Art organizations and offers EMARE residencies for artists working in the fields of digital media including Internet and computer-based artists, filmmakers, and those working in media based performance, sound or video as well as robotics or bio-art. Within this context, every year we welcome an outstanding European media artist to support research, production, presentation and distribution in Europe and beyond. IMPAKT EMARE residents include: interdisciplinary collective Clusterduck, French-born Guyanese/Danish artist Tabita Rezaire, and the upcoming resident: Polish multidisciplinary artist and researcher Liliana Piskorska.
